Welcome! In this video, I paint a scene from Saugatuck, Michigan with acrylics on a 6”x6” canvas. Starting out with a bright pink toned canvas, I do most of the work with bristle brushes, with my gray glass palette visible to watch my color mixing.

Acrylic paints: mostly Liquitex and Golden brand Heavy body

  • Titanium white

  • Ultramarine Blue or Prussian blue

  • Cadmium Red Hue

  • Cadmium Yellow Medium Hue

  • Naples Yellow

  • Dioxazine purple
